If you’re looking for some hidden gems to explore in South Goa, here are a few of my favourites! The Dudhsagar Waterfalls is a breathtakingly beautiful site, and the trek to get there is an adventure in itself. If you’re looking for a beach, then Butterfly Beach is sure to be a hit – it’s an idyllic spot that’s not too crowded and has a great view.

South Goa is known for its stunning beaches and lush greenery. In addition to these popular attractions, some hidden gems are worth exploring. Betul Beach, for example, is off the beaten track, but it’s an excellent spot for swimming, fishing and bird-watching. Another secluded spot is Galgibaga Beach, which is home to Olive Ridley Turtles. If you’re looking for something more adventurous, check out Netravali Wildlife Sanctuary, which is filled with exotic flora and fauna. Finally, you can explore the Dudhsagar Falls, a breathtaking multi-tiered waterfall tucked away in the forests of Goa. I hope you can explore some of these hidden places in South Goa!

Some of my favourite hidden places to explore include the Cabo de Rama fort, Butterfly Beach, Palolem Beach, and Arvalem Waterfall.

15. Tambdi Surla Mahadev Temple

This temple is noted as the oldest temple in Goa, Tambdi Surla is the temple of Shiv Ji built in the 12th century by Yadava King Ramachandra. This temple is a treat to the eyes because of its unique construction style. This temple was built during the reign of the Kadamba dynasty. The location of Tambdi Surla is in the middle of the forest. You can’t reach here on your own. You will have to take help from a local person of there because there are snakes as it is a forest area.

Location: Chandor Village is situated in South Goa, approximately 15 kilometers from Margao.
